Weruché Inspires International (WIIN) is a 501(c)(3) charitable, educational, arts, and culture non-profit organization. Our mission is to uplift the voices of women, girls, immigrants, and underrepresented communities through arts, culture, advocacy, and leadership development. We proudly collaborate with creative artists, businesses, agencies, and organizations that share our commitment to empowering women and girls.
WIIN is the implementing organization dedicated to advancing the Pride of Ancestry™ framework, a vision created and owned by Weruché Uzoka. Through our licensed use of the Princess Naku® series and the framework, we deliver transformative educational and economic empowerment programs across the globe.
About WIIN
Our Journey
Born from lived experience
The heart behind WIIN stems from the journey of our founder, Weruché Uzoka, whose personal experience as an immigrant and advocate shapes everything we do. After being granted asylum by an immigration judge in 2007, Weruché dedicated herself to supporting immigrants, refugees, and marginalized communities, both locally and internationally.
In 2015, Weruché Inspires was born as a platform to expand this passion for social justice, empowerment, and community building. Like many, we faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, which led us to scale back in-person activities. With resilience and renewed purpose, we are evolving, finding new, sustainable ways to share our work and give back to the communities we serve.
