Youth & the arts
Our arts and culture program for children in Nigeria is now in its fifth session, with dance, music and drama groups. In California, our Festac Baby project, supported by a California Arts Council grant, offers Creative Youth Development workshops and a rollout of six public productions honoring the 50th anniversary of FESTAC ’77.

In 2021, our founder authored 57 children’s books in a single year, creating the Princess Naku cultural and literary journey for young readers.

We conduct research and advocacy at the United Nations, including preparation for the 71st Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW71), and are pursuing formal UN accreditation. We also advocate to state leaders, including a proposal to the Governor of California for an African Continental Studies framework in public education.

We are establishing an Immigration & Asylee Support Clinic to provide client intake, resource guides, and connections to legal and social services for migrant and displaced communities.
Human capital
Graduate-level fellows in non-profit governance, human rights, immigration advocacy and journalism produce research, policy materials and original published work, shared on the WIIN blog.
